What We Offer?
We offer Private Occupational Therapy assessments within a 3o mile travel distance of Ashford in Kent.
What Is Occupational Therapy?
The purpose of paediatric occupational therapy is to enable children or young people to participate in daily activities (or occupations) to improve health, independence and wellbeing.
What Are Occupations?
Occupations for children or young people may include.

self-care (dressing, brushing teeth, washing eating a meal, using the toilet, making a simple meal)

learning (participating in activities and routines at nursery or school, or volunteering)
-
leisure (playing with friends, doing sports or hobbies).
How Can An Occupational Assessment Help?
We provide three different tiers of Occupational Therapy Assessment depending on the child's needs. Our assessments can have a number of benefits including:

Evidence of support needs towards Educational Health Care Plans (EHCP)

Evidence towards diagnosing certain conditions such as Developmental Coordination Disorder (Dyspraxia), Hyper-mobility, Autism (Sensory Processing Difficulties)

Identify strengths and challenge and provide practical advice to support children and young people reach their goals.
