Introducing our most comprehensive Occupational Therapy Assessment for £800
Our Gold Package is the most comprehensive assessment we offer. This package is specifically designed for children who require evidence for an educational health care plan (EHCP). We work with School, Parents/carers and the child to ensure that their needs are highlighted with a detailed breakdown of the support need to fully meet their individual needs.
What is included in the GOLD package?

Pre-assessment questionnaire’s which may include the Winnie Dunn Sensory Profile 2, Movement ABC Checklist and/or DCDQ (2007)*.

30 minutes meeting with SENCO and Class Teacher

Up to 90 minutes 1:1 assessment including up to 3 standardised assessments*.

30 minutes school-based observation.

Detailed report in line with EHCP standards (PDF) including the standardised scores with analytical interpretation and how these relate to the strengths and challenges of the child with targeted strategies of support.

30 minute feedback call.
What will be covered in the assessment?
The pre-assessment questionnaire includes questions about medical and family history as well as questions regarding the child's ability with activities of daily living. You may also be asked to complete some standardised questionaries depending on the individual needs highlighted during the free discovery call.
A really important question we ask is for you to identify up to three functional goals you would like the child to achieve. This will help our therapist tailor the 1:1 assessment in order to provide targeted support in achieving a positive out come for the child.

A Standardised Assessment of Handwriting using the DASH (Detailed Assessment of Speed of Handwriting)

A Standardised Assessment of Fine and Gross Motor Skills using the Movement Assessment Battery for Children

Assessment of Functional Skills

Analysis Of Sensory Processing Skills using the Winnie Dunn Sensory Profile 2

Class Based Observation
Where will the assessment take place?
As occupational therapists we value the role the environment plays in a persons "occupational performance". Therefore we recommend that the assessment takes place in the environment the child needs support in such as the child's school, nursery or home.
What will the report include?
Our Report for EHCP applications is the most comprehensive report we offer. It is specifically tailored to support individuals and families during the EHCP application process. Although we can not guarantee our reports will grant an EHCP our team has years of experience in creating reports that accurately describe individual needs and concerns. We pride ourselves on providing the highest level of support to our clients in order to make the entire process as smooth as possible.
